Velvet pumpkins

These sparkly velvet pumpkins have cork stems and felt leaves. I have the 3 of them in a cosy stack. I still might add some thread around the sections to help them keep their pumpkin shape.

The sign on the studio door

This sign is paper and napkins layered over canvas. The studio word is created using Tim Holtz block letters. The roses are stamped and layered watercolour paper so they have great dimension.The sign is on my studio door.

New desk in the studio

Fairy Book – Spring

The pansy fairy. Background is sprayed ink with Ranger stencils.The image is a puppet downloaded from the internet and coloured with Intense watercolour pencils. The pansies are die cut or recycled from an old birthday card.

Quilts -Stained glass

I created these two quilt pieces with some experiments with different media on some cotton squares. I used water colour, foil, stencils and made a stained glass -like thin stripping. The coloured pieces are from a batik charm pack. This is my own design.
